Residential: Garage ceiling/upper floor strengthening, York
We were called to this private residence as the client believed the ceiling above a 5 bay garage was sagging, due to excessive
goods being stored on the floor above. Our structural engineer assessed the situation and designed joist strengthening for the
areas required. We sourced the materials and carried out the remedial action, thus solving the client's problem.
"LJM were a friendly and professional team, who were a pleasure to deal with. They were efficient and very competitive on cost. I
also found it a joy to work with a firm who identifies the centre of the problem and explains this to you in detail, as opposed to
baffling you with extensive information and pushing more and more extra's on the job".
